Naming things is hard, as computer scientists know. It's hard to come up with names, but also naming things makes them A Thing.

Tumblr the goat here, perhaps Having to name an post makes it A Thing Whereas unnamed posts can be higher variance because all your effort can be put into the main content

Unfortunately, blogging sites want you to have titles (i.e., name your posts). This is structural, and I don't want to go to the trouble of making a new blogging site right now (though I did have my zo.computer take a crack at it at one point by combining bluesky and standard.site). Instead, we go with the cheap technical fix: random title generation, abstracted from content. For example: the title of this post:

Perhaps this will assist in reviving the low-effort blog.

Actually tho I was thinking something similar earlier today (and on and off previously); the "well-crafted essay/story/etc" form of blogging ate the "web log" style (shorter, more casual, less effortful) So now the pckt/leaflet "start a blog :D" is stymied by "idk if I can/want to do that..."
